Two Industry Experts Join CA South’s Board

CA South adds two industry leading experts to its Board of Advisors; Andy Burnham and Mike McDonald.

Mr. Burnham is responsible for Codina Partner’s overall business plan, investor relations, development execution and supervision of all of its projects. Mr. Burnham has more than 20 years of experience in the multifamily investment and development sector and has been involved in the acquisition, development, management, and disposition of more than 20,000 housing units in Florida.

Prior to the formation of CC Residential, Mr. Burnham worked on numerous private real estate investments and developments in Southeast Florida, and until 2001, held various asset management and development positions with JPI. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Arkansas Tech University and a MBA from the University of Arkansas.

He is also an active leader in the real estate industry and involved in several associations and boards, including ULI and the South East Florida Apartment Association (SEEFA). He is also active in community affairs and has received numerous honors in his career, including JPI Developer of the Year, National Business School Merit Award, and National Scholar Athlete.

Mike McDonald, Vice Chairman in Cushman & Wakefield’s Capital Markets group, has been named a Top Broker by Connect Media and he is one of the firm’s top-producing brokers in the Americas, specializing in high-profile office sales in the Sunbelt markets, including Texas, North Carolina and Nashville.

Mike’s notable transactions include some of the most significant property sales in their respective markets. His sale of 1900 Pearl in Dallas for $183 million set a new price-per-square-foot record in the city, at $700 PSF. The tower was sold in an all-cash transaction to a state pension fund.

Mike was previously Managing Director with Eastdil Secured, a real estate investment banking company owned by Wells Fargo. During his career, Mike has been involved in more than $50 billion in office transactions.
