CA South, a rapidly growing Nashville-based commercial real estate developer, has an immediate need for an Accounting Manager. We are looking for an experienced internal accountant with strong knowledge of Quickbooks and a firm understanding of accounting principles and processes. Working knowledge of journal entries, account reconciliation, cash reconciliation, and coding a high volume of invoices is required. This position will report directly to the VP of Finance and will manage all-things accounting at the company. Job Responsibilities :

  • Reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis
  • Reconcile intercompany reimbursable accounts on monthly basis
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Track invoices, post transactions, and process payments
  • Cut checks; keep W2 up to date
  • Manage A/R and A/P diligently
  • Code transactions in QuickBooks
  • Prepare annual 1099’s
  • Assisting in preparation of budget and preparing the monthly budget variance analyses
  • Provide direct support to VP of Finance for all accounting related matters 

Qualifications

  • QuickBooks experience (minimum two years)
  • Appfolio experience (not required, but experience with this system is a plus)
  • Strong Excel knowledge
  • Strong IT skills (comfortable with learning new platforms, e.g., Office Suite, Adobe, Asana, etc.)
  • CPA preferred, but not required
  • Experience working with Real Estate firm preferred, but not required
